He expressed appreciation to his bosses and colleagues both past and present.
“Today’s show happened to be my last on the dial 91.9FM. It’s been an incredible 11-year journey for me from Vibe to LiveFM and I feel very blessed to have been part of the history of a station that’s contributed so much to Ghanaian music and urban youth culture in the last 25 yrs. From it’s programming to its events, 91.9FM has been in the forefront of empowering creatives, pushing the artists & their music.
To be amongst the many influential voices that blessed the airwaves of 91.9FM is something I’ll forever be grateful for. S/O Mike Cooke, Lee Longdon , George Brun, Bola Ray and all the colleagues I’ve worked with both past and present. To all the listeners who’ve been locked in consistently throughout this last decade man THANK YOU.
Moving forward, I’m excited to be one of the many curators and contributors to EIB’s new digital offering – LiveXtra A streaming platform dedicated to Ghana’s vibrant music culture via music, podcasts & live radio. I also look forward to being back on air soon.
God Bless! – Antoine Mensah
