Amakye Dede To Be Honoured With Lifetime Achievement Award At 25th TGMA

Charterhouse Ghana, organizers of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards will honour veteran Ghanaian highlife music star Amakye Dede with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

The coveted award commemorates industry pioneers who have powerfully shifted culture and the entertainment industry. Surprise guests will take the stage to celebrate AMAKYE DEDE and his ever-growing musical during the awards ceremony.

The Board adjudges the Lifetime Achievement Award as a Living Legend of Ghanaian Music whose works must have spanned generations with previous recipients including Legendary Agya Koo Nimo, Mary Ghansah, Kofi Abraham & J.A. Adofo, Paapa Yankson, George Darko, Bob Pinodo, among others.

Culture’s Biggest Night, Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024, will air live on Saturday, June 1 on TV3 at 8 pm from the Grand Arena in Accra, Ghana.

As one of the best-selling artists in music history, with an illustrious five-decade career, Amakye Dede’s s impact on the industry is undeniable. With groundbreaking albums, he has shattered records and earned him numerous accolades.
