Akwaaba Magic Announces The Premiere Of The First 100% Ewe Movie

Akwaaba Magic, the leading provider of rich authentic Ghanaian content is proud to announce the premiere of a three-part movie with the setting located in the Volta Region.

 It will be the first 100% Ewe language movie to be aired on the network.

Titled ASI and directed by Richard GOVERNOR, the movie follows a young couple’s lives and struggles to build a successful life together. It features a talented cast of local actors, including Akorfa Adjeani, Rikki and a much more exciting cast.

“We are thrilled to bring this unique and authentic movie to our viewers and are committed to showcasing the best Ghanaian content. ASI is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Ewe people and it is just 1 of the many rich contents we are producing”. Head of Marketing, Afua Kissi Nyame said.

ASI premieres on April 1 at 8 pm. The 2nd and 3rd parts air on April 2 and 8 at 8 pm respectively.

Speaking about ASI the director, Richard Governor said “I am excited to share this movie with the world, adding that “The Ewe language and culture are often overlooked, and I am proud to have had the opportunity to bring them to life on screen.”

This groundbreaking movie is a testament to Akwaaba Magic’s commitment to showcasing the best Ghanaian content and creating a platform for African stories. Viewers can tune in to Akwaaba Magic on DStv Channel 150 or GOtv Channel 128 to watch the brilliant movie by the promising director who also produced and directed the dance movie, LEG WORK.
