Christina Aguilera has confessed “the one place I don’t need to be in control is in the bedroom”.
The 32-year-old singer and mother-of-one told Maxim magazine about what she does and doesn’t find sexy. She also showed off her new slimmed-down figure, posing for a cover shoot in just a black bra and a white men’s shirt.
The Dirrty singer revealed: “I’m a big micro-manager. I’m a stickler about organization: everything needs a place, a purpose…I think every woman should relax and allow herself to be pleased in the bedroom. It’s the one place I can let go.”
Christina – who’s been dating production assistant Matthew Rutler for nearly three years – admits she is a very sexual person, but insisted she doesn’t try to be sexy.
She said: “I’m an artist, and expressing myself in a sexual way – no matter how that changes throughout the years – is something that has always come naturally to me.
“At this point of my life, I’m 32 and I feel sexier than ever because you know what you want.
“I’m such a down-to-earth girl, I’m comfortable in just a jersey and boy’s underwear. Trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do. Sexiness should be effortless.”
And despite being a musician, and a judge on US singing show The Voice, Christina revealed her biggest turn-off is being serenaded.
She confessed: “The quickest way for me to feel weird and run for the hills is if somebody sits down and serenades me with a guitar. It’s not my thing.”
