CEO of Ohene Media and Fiesta TV Abraham Ohene Djan has finally put to rest the recent industry rumours which seem to accuse him of illegally monetizing music videos of both Ghanaian and foreign artists on his online music channel.
The laid back business man in an interview on the Kapital Entertainment Unplugged Show on Saturday explained it was quite interesting to find artists accuse him and his outfit of illegally monetizing their videos.
Explaining the circumstances, A.B as he is affectionately called by close associates disclosed saying;
The complaint by such artists is like handing over your music video to a TV station and asking them not to broadcast adverts during your videos. However, artists who informed us of having their own monetizing platforms were excluded from what we did for other artists who did not have it.
Abraham Ohene Djan who has always channeled a cause for music artists to be paid for the use of their music videos believed it was only a great platform for Ghanaian musicians to earn some money from the online stream on Youtube which is not exclusive to Ohene Media but many other people.
