Miss Jamaica Toni-Ann Singh has been crowned Miss World 2019 held on December 14.
The 23 year old takes over from Vanessa Ponce from Mexico and becomes the 69th Miss World.
Prior to the grand finale, Toni-Ann Singh had won the talent competition after her performance at the “Beauty with a Purpose” Gala Dinner in London.
Ophely Mezino of France and Suman Rao of India were the first and second runners up of the beauty pageant respectively.
Miss World 2019 was the 69th edition of the contest and contestants from 120 countries competed for the title.
Ghana’s representative however could not make the Top 40 of the pageant.
The top 5 consisted of Nigeria, Brazil, France, India and Jamaica .
The pageant took place at ExCeL London, London, United Kingdom.
