Congolese icon Fally Ipupa swept the night with both Artist of the Year and the Crossing Boundaries with Music Award. Meanwhile, Nigerian superstar Davido claimed Album of the Year for 5ive, and Bnxn & Sarz took home Song of the Year.
The Regional Honours saw Ruger and Tems taking Best Male and Best Female West Africa, while DJ Maphorisa and Tyla earned top spots for Southern Africa.
Dope Nation was not the only Ghanaian act recognized on the big stage; Eno Barony earned the award for Best Female Rap Act.
