The “Abodam” era is far from over. Ghanaian music sensation Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, popularly known as Kwaw Kese, has announced a new album.
In an exclusive interview on Y102.5FM, the Ghanaian music icon officially pulled back the curtain on his highly anticipated upcoming project, titled From Far.
Speaking with NY DJ on the popular Album Review segment on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, the man insane revealed that the album is slated for a global release in the summer of 2026.
From Far isn’t just a solo effort; it’s a massive bridge between generations of Ghanaian excellence. Kwaw Kese confirmed a heavy-hitting lineup of collaborators that spans the worlds of hiplife, Afrobeats, and Asakaa, including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, EL, Oseikrom Sikani, Beeztrap KOTM, Pappy Kojo, and several other surprise guests.
The inclusion of both seasoned legends and the vibrant “Kumerica” wave suggests a project that balances Kwaw’s signature grit with modern, high-energy sounds.
In a move that highlights his deep connection to the streets, Kwaw Kese announced his intention to host the official album launch in Kumasi.
While specific track titles remain under wraps, the title ‘From Far’ hints at a reflective journey through Kwaw Kese’s long-standing career—reminding fans of how far he has come while proving he still has his foot on the pedal.
