Once a darling boy of Nollywood, Veteran actor Jim Iyke has opened up on what marriage was like for him and how he ruined them.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude, the movie star noted that his level of unpredictability is why many never knew about his marriage and the woes he suffered.
According to the actor, he failed twice as a married man because he was a woeful husband despite being an excellent father.
As someone who used to be best friends with his mum and care for her, Jim Iyke revealed how losing his mum caused him to lose balance for years and affected his marriage.
Explaining how his marriages failed, Jim said;
‘I caused them to fail. I’m not the one who would sit down and blame anyone for my mistakes. When I lost my mum, I couldn’t find my feet for years. My woman was pregnant with my first son but I wasn’t the loving man she met and she suffered for that. I also became an observative dad. I took everything in me to my son and left her behind. I was an excellent father and a woeful husband.”
