The recent unrest among two of the nation’s finest dancehall artists Shatta Wale and Samini could be ending soon as a move has been initiated by a very influential music icons in the Ghanaian music industry to find a common grounds and make peace between the two as reported earlier Reggie Rockstone to Intervene in Samini – Shatta Wale Feud.

A league of concerned stake holders in collaboration with Musiga have initiated a peace process for the ongoing unrest in the dancehall industry.
Initiated by the office of national hiplife director(Musiga) and the grand papa Reggie Rockstone himself, The first sitting of this three day peace process will take place in a closed door meeting with the two leading dancehall artistes on Monday, November 25 at Rockstone’s Office.
The objective for the talks is to address the feud between the two most influential figures in dancehall music and to find common ground to inspire a truce that will eventually ripple down to squash all existing feuds in the very competitive genre.
The three day talks will begin with a closed door meeting on Monday with the the two parties mediated by a committee made up of daddy Bosco, black prophet, panji anoff, kwame sefa(chairman) and the host Reggie Rockstone.
The second sitting will have management of both the High Grade Family and the Shatta Movement agree on conditions that will flexibly accommodate the truce.
The third sitting, in a form of a press conference will hopefully have the two giants shake hands and hug to send a signal to their fans as well as the streets to calm their nerves.
In an attempt to avoid contradictory statements and misquotes of the media on this sensitive matter the committee has decided That none of the two parties will grant interviews about progress of the peace talks until a truce is called. However all media updates will be communicated through the forum PR and spokesperson Nana Poku Osei (hammer).
