Nigerian musician Wizkid will just not stop at winning. The musician who has for the past year released just a single hit song was adjudged the Best Africa Act at the MTV EMAs 2016.
The announcement came few hours before the main awards show which was held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The One Dance hit maker beat stiff competition from South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest, Tanzania’s Alikiba, fellow countryman Olamide and Best International Act, Africa winner at the BET Awards 2016 Black Coffee.
Wizkid takes over from Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz who picked up the award in 2015.

Wizkid was also named as a Worldwide Act. Other honourees were Shawn Mendes (Canada), Zara Larsson (Sweden), Maluma (Columbia), GOT7 (Korea) and Troye Sivan (Australia).
So far this year, Wizkid has been dominant on several world charts and basking several awards worldwide.
