You can tell it’s been an amazing year in music when you look at all the artists, songs and videos that have been nominated for this year’s MTV EMA.
Having made her comeback just in time for EMA season, Taylor Swift is leading the pack with six nominations including one for Best Video for her latest hit, “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar are close behind with five nominations going to Mendes and four going to both Lamar and Sheeran. New, game-changing artists like, KYLE and Dua Lipa, have also been recognized in multiple categories.
This year the Best Male and Best Female categories will be retired and replaced with the Best Artist category.
Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift are all up for the Best Artist award.
As always, the winners will be determined by the fans so be sure to vote for your favorite artists on mtvema.com!
We’ll find out who came out on top come Sunday, November 12 when the 2017 MTV EMA is broadcasted live around the globe from The SSE Arena, Wembley in London.
Contending for the Best African Act are Wizkid, Davido, Babes Wodumo etc.
