Nigerian musician Wizkid has cancelled all scheduled concerts and tours rounding up December and January 2017.
Fans of Nigerian musician Wizkid, especially in Ghana and Nigeria would have to look elsewhere for fun activities this festive season as the musician will no more continue with his already lined up concerts.
The musician who has been touring for the past two years in a statement made available to Ghana’s hub for urban and Entertainment news www.nydjlive.com states the decision to cancel all concerts and tours within the time frame was arrived at after advice from his doctors.
The musician however apologized and assured fans he would be back “stronger and better”.

“#TeamWizkid I’ve been on the road for 2 years touring and doing what i love without a break, and now its all catching up on me. I hate this but my doctors have advised me to cancel the rest of my dates for this year and January 2017.
Apologies to all my fans, especially in Nigeria and Uganda and the rest of the world. I promise to be back stronger and better to see u guys. Promise u new music before the end of the year !!
Y’all have an amazing Christmas and new year celebrations!! I’ll be here recovering and getting my energy up to see u all next year! Love u all and God bless.”
Earlier in November 2016, Wizkid announced homecoming concerts Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt (all in Nigeria) and Accra, Ghana.
