Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are set to wear Victoria’s Secret’s $2 million bejeweled Dream Angels Fantasy Bras at 2014 Victoria’s Secret Show in London on December 9. The bras were revealed on “Good Morning America” on Monday, November 3 with the two Brazilian models appearing for the unveiling.
Adriana said on the show, “It’s like a highlight really of the show, the fantasy bra, and every year the models, we always get nervous to see who is going to get to wear the bra. This year it’s really exciting because it’s the first time that we’re going to have two Fantasy Bras on the fashion show. I’m honored to be here with Alessandra, doing the show, walking the runway together. I cannot wait.”
Both of the bras, which were crafted by jeweler Pascal Mouawad, contain more than 16,000 rubies, diamonds and blue sapphires. Accompanying those garments are handcrafted arm bands, shoulder coverings and a glittering, makeshift garter belt strung together with 18-karat gold. The pieces took over a whopping 1,380 hours to create.
