(Video) Yvonne Chaka Chaka Inducted Into African Legends Night Hall Of Fame

Princess of Africa and celebrated African music superstar, Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been inducted into the African Legends Night Hall Of Fame.

The induction, which took place in Accra, Ghana on Saturday, October 5, 2024, was part of the African Legends Night music concert which saw the celebrated musician put up a memorable performance leaving patrons asking for more.

She performed alongside musicians including Adane Best, Okyeame Kwame and George Jahraa.

Yvonne Chaka Chake joins a list of inductees that includes Hugh Masekela, Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Femi Kuti, Amakye Dede, Kanda Bongoman, Awilo Longomba, George Darko, Ofie Kodjoe, Freddie Meiway, Ben Brako, Gyedu Blay Ambulley, Samini, Nana Tuffuor, Akosua Agyapong, Amandzeba Nat Brew, 2Face Idibia, Rex Omar, and Ofori Amponsah.

The Hall of Fame is also to recognize music legends who have consistently excelled in their endeavour of work over a long period.

Over the past eleven years, African Legends Night has witnessed 20 headliners from a number of African countries such as Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, DR. Congo, Namibia, and South Africa among others.

The African Legends Night is a premium pan-African concert which recognizes and celebrates living African music legends.
