Skate Nation Ghana – Meta, has been nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards.
Nominated for Outstanding Commercial – 2022, the 2 minutes 4 seconds commercial tells the story of Joshua Ganyobi Odamtten (founder) and Sandy, and how they used Facebook’s platforms to build an emerging skateboarding culture in Ghana.
It was nominated alongside Detectives – Apple iPhone 13 Pro, Everyone But Jon Hamm – Apple TV+, The Lost Class – Change The Ref, Teenage Dream – Sandy Hook Promise, and Walter The Cat – Chevy Silverado.
Winners of this year’s Emmys will be unveiled during a prime-time ceremony on NBC and the streaming service Peacock, on Sept. 12.
In May 2022, the commercial won a Webby Award in the Advertising, Media & PR
Best Art Direction 2022 category.
