Recently crowned Artist of the year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and self acclaimed African dancehall King Shatta Wale has been confirmed as Ghanaian ambassador for the upcoming Worldcup to be hosted in Brazil in June.
The artist confirmed this on Facebook in a post stating;

This comes at the back of an earlier report that the Ghana Football Association had signed an agreement with Rackus Production, organizers of BASS Awards to provide entertainment to the Black Stars before and during the World Cup in Brazil.
According to the Acting General Secretary of the GFA, Mr. Emmanuel Gyimah, the partnership with the entertainment company will provide the team with the needed relaxation after their training sessions and matches as Ghana seeks to improve its performance at this year’s World Cup.
“This will psychologically help the players to perform better and even double their efforts at the World Cup”, the GFA General Secretary said at the official announcement of the agreement.”
