Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale apparently loves to make his cash than speak in front of personalities from across Africa at the Oxford Conference scheduled to hold on May 21 2016.
The musician in an interview with Sammy Baah on Pluzz FM disclosed he will choose money over prestige any day.
“Sammy I’m interested in making more money than prestige, it’s not like I’m not all that interested in going to the Oxford thing, but I want to make more money. I’ve lot of people calling me for gigs here and there, so I might just cancel the Oxford, and I attend to those shows. I want to make more money now, the prestige will follow later” He stated.
Management in an interview with Akwasi Aboagye confirmed the news saying Shatta Wale will be performing at this year’s Tigo Ghana Meets Naija but were looking at other ways to make it up to organizers of the Oxford Conference with regards to their future conferences.
The confirmations sounds louder especially as he is seen on the official poster of the Tigo Ghana Meets Naija.
Shatta Wale has been billed alongside E.L, Pappy Kojo, VVIP and others to face Nigerian counterparts Olamide, Harry Songs, Mr. Eazi, Flavour and others.
This year’s Tigo Ghana Meets Naija holds on the May 21 2016, the same day the Oxford Conference holds.
