Sarkodie To Perform Newly Unreleased Songs With Shatta Wale At Rapperholic In Kumasi

• Sarkodie has revealed he will perform a newly unreleased collaboration with dancehall artist Shatta Wale at Rapperholic.

Africa’s most decorated rap artist and entrepreneur, Michael Owusu Addo, also known as Sarkodie, has revealed he will share a stage with dancehall artist Shatta Wale at the much-anticipated Rapperholic, The Homecoming edition, scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

As if announcing Shatta Wale as a guest artist was not enough, Sarkodie, in an exclusive interview with NY DJ on BTM Afrika, revealed he has a couple of unreleased songs with Shatta Wale which would be performed for the first time at his annual music concert in Kumasi.

“When last did you see me perform “Megye Wo Girl and Dancehall Commando” with Shatta Wale? We actually have an exclusive. “We have a new record that we are about to perform, and you have to be there to witness it,” he said.

The announcement has got fans who have long yearned to see the two artists perform together.

Sarkodie also expressed appreciation to Shatta Wale for offering to sponsor his concert with his business, Shaxi.
