Ahead of Ghanaian rap artist Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie’s Rapperholic Concert slated for December 25 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre, the BET award winner has been sued by a Russia based Ghanaian DJ and promoter Lawrence Ampene Larson Darko.
In a writ of summons available online, Lawrence claim the rapper owes him a total $11,656 in damages for an event that was meant to hold in Russia for which Sarkodie didn’t show up for. Thus, the charges are for cost of promotions, accommodation and travel expenses accrued in preparations for the show.

This is not the first time the rap artist has been sued. In November 2013, Sarkodie was sued by fashion designer Obuobi Jeremih for allegedly not paying for a concept and logo for his Sark collections. Read more about that here : Sarkodie Sued for ‘Stealing’ Logo for his Sark Fashion Line?
Sarkodie is however not perturbed about the writ as his focus is still on promoting his concert Rapperholic which features a top line of artists.
