Ahead of the release of the most anticipated album of the year, Highest by Ghanaian rap artist Sarkodie, the musician together with his team has kick-started a number of activations and plugging.
This comes after the musician successfully held an exclusive album listening for a select few in Accra, Ghana.
The line up of activation which includes radio and television tours has already seen the artist visit some media houses in the London where Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban News – www.nydjlive.com understands will be serenaded with a number of giant billboards and promotional materials.
Already, Sarkodie has visited Vice, Noisey, Hunger Mag, Capital Radio, Line of Best Fit, BBC 1 Xtra, MTV UK and Vox Africa.
He also spent time in the offices of Sony Music UK.
As gathered by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment – www.nydjlive.com, wordwide distribution of the album would be done by Sony Music UK.
Unlike his previous albums, Sarkodie during the album listening in Accra, Ghana promised not to sleep on Highest but rather make Ghanaians proud.
