
Perhaps a night for the known Ghanaian dancehall and reggae icon Samini as he picked up four (4) awards at the first edition of the just ended BASS Awards. Wins included “Artiste of the Year”, “Best Dancehall Artiste”, “Best Performer (Reggae/Dancehall)” and the “Collaboration/Dancehall Song of the Year” which featured prominent act Stonebwoy.
The event which took place at the National Theatre in Accra and was well attended by the musicians and other industry players.
Although the main act headlined for the event Elephant Man failed to attend, the event was set ablaze with performances from Stonebwoy, Kaakie, General Marcus, Trigmatic and Jupitar. Others performers included Eazzy, Black prophet, Natural Face, D3 and Na U.
