Reliable information available to www.nydjlive.com indicates that the General Manager of Despite Group of Companies which comprise Peace FM, Okay FM, Neat FM and UTV, Mr. Kwasi Brenya is dead.
Mr. Brenya until his death managed the Accra based media empire and had several awards under his administration.
Cause of his death readily unknown.
Employees of the station and colleagues have since the announcement of his passing poured in their tributes via social networking sites.
Mr. Kwasi Brenya took ill weeks ago and was admitted at the 37 Military Hospital where he was responding to treatment until his unfortunate demise.
He died Tuesday afternoon.
Peace FM has since his demise changed their music playlist to dirges.
