‘Queen Sugar’ Star Kofi Siriboe Inks With WME

American actor and model of Ghanaian descent Kofi Siriboe, best known as part of the main cast of OWN’s Queen Sugar, has signed with WME for agency representation, Deadline reports.

Siriboe, who was previously with Innovative Artists, has starred as Ralph Angel, one-third of the Bordelon siblings, for the past three seasons of the Ava DuVernay-created series, which is slated to return for a fourth season.

Siriboe was recently tapped as the lead in Really Love, an indie drama from Fencesproducer Charles D. King’s MARCO. Angel Kristi Williams is directing the pic, which follows a rising black painter (Siriboe) who tries to break into the competitive art world while balancing a whirlwind romance he never expected.

The American-born Ghanaian actor, who continues to be repped by JME Management and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, has also appeared in Universal’s sleeper hit Girl’s TripThe Longshots with Ice Cube and Keke Palmer, and recurred on MTV’s Awkward series.

In addition, Siriboe has his production company, ViaKofi, where he recently released his short film Jump and it’s pre-cursor WTF Is Mental Health, a series of short films tackling the issues of mental health in the young Black community.
