Three months after having their first child together, Ciara has called off her engagement to her baby’s daddy Future.
The news was confirmed by Us Weekly after rumors surfaced that the relationship was hitting the rocks since Ciara was recently spotted without her ring.
“He cheated on her. Game over,” an insider tells Us of the “Turn On the Lights” rapper. Another source adds: “She’s devastated. Ciara’s focus now is the baby.”
Ciara and Future were together for over a year, after they met while working together in the studio. Back in July, Ciara was quoted recalling how their relationship started:
“I went into the studio strictly to work, but he was very calm and sweet, a gentleman… I knew right away that he was different. Now he’s my best friend in the world, my partner.”
Just wish the two will work things out for the sake of lil Future, Future Zahir Wilburn.
