Legendary Ghanaian rap artist Okyeame Kwame has a fire project up his sleeves.
Currently dominating music charts across the country with a Kuami Eugene assisted single ‘Yeeko‘, the Rap Dacta during an exclusive conversation with NY DJ on Y102.5FM revealed he has been working on a lot of materials during the covid-19 moments.
“Before the year ends, you’ll get a pure rap EP. I know people miss my rap. In fact, my son has been worrying me. I’ve taken inspiration from all these young cats out there and I’m preparing a rap EP for you. It’s dropping this year. It’s a very clinging EP and I know it will cause a lot of trouble.”
Asked if the project will have any features, Okyeame stated in the negative saying, “If I’m going to feature anybody, maybe my children but it will be strictly me.”
The EP Born To Rap is expected to be preceded by two singles.
“Before the EP, I’ll drop two singles. A single with one of the top female artists in the country (in fact it will blow you away) and a remix of one of my old songs”
Okyeame Kwame has a sterling career spanning over two (2) decades.
