Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah Resigns From Angel Broadcasting Network
Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, morning show host on Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) has resigned from the media outfit.
The broadcaster announced his resignation on Facebook on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, citing “differences in interests between the management of the company and myself.”
His resignation takes effect immediately.
He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve at the media outfit and to the Ghanaian public.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve ABN and the Ghanaian public.”

“RESIGNATION AS ABN MORNING SHOW ON-AIR HOST.
I am resigning as the Morning Show Host of Angel Broadcasting Network, effective immediately.
This decision was made due to differences in interests between the management of the company and myself.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve ABN and the Ghanaian public.
To my fans and family out there, I will share my next move soon.”
In December 2024, reports suggested that the presenter had been dismissed from Angel Broadcasting Networks due to “internal disagreements.”
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, regular viewers of the TV show were astonished to see sports journalist and presenter Saddick Adams host the show. Many took to social media to express their surprise but also congratulated the presenter for his composure in holding the fort.
