Obour won’t step down |Announces he will contest for MUSIGA Presidency again

President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour has announced he would be contesting in the Union’s upcoming elections in August as he seeks for a second term in office as President of the Union

Obour made the announcement prior to an award presentation at the 16th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held at the Accra International Centre over the weekend in Accra.

“I’m happy to share with you this amazing audience and this cluster of musicians and my MUSIGA executives, MUSIGA delegates who are present that come election time, I will make myself available to contest for the presidency of the Musicians Union of Ghana.” – He said.

In August 2011, the 2004 Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year winner and Atenteben hit maker beat veteran musicians like Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Nana Tuffour and Willie Roy to make history as the youngest MUSIGA president ever in Ghana.
