Ahead of the official release of the nominees list for MAMAs 2016 scheduled to hold in Johannesburg in October, organizers of the awards and a number of musicians have already gathered in the South African capital to have a nominations announcement party.
As part of efforts by www.nydjlive.com to bring you up to minute updates on the party and the awards this year, we share with you some photos from the nominees party.
The hosts for the party are South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha and MTV Africa Presenter Sandile Ntshingila and oh yes, the actress is already turning heads with her low cut print.
Earlier today, South African comedian and host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, was announced as host for this year’s event.
Check out some photos.
