It seems rumours about Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey’s split is true as reports suggest the former has quietly filed for divorce from the latter, a few months after news of their separation hit the internet.
According to several reports, the “America’s Got Talent” presenter filed his petition on December 12, a little over a week after his estranged wife had a rough time performing at the Christmas tree-lighting event.
According to TMZ, Mariah missed the “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” taping back then because she was discussing divorce settlement with her lawyer. The taping was already wrapped up when she finally showed up three hours late, forcing her to perform live only to get criticized by fans after her unedited vocals from the performance leaked.
The two have twin children, Monroe and Moroccan.
