Organizers of the #Dumsormuststop vigil have secured a new venue for the intended peaceful vigil.
This comes after the University of Ghana in a press release yesterday stated they had no idea of such a vigil and would therefore not allow its premises for such an event.
Early morning Friday May 8 2015, organizers of the vigil spearheaded by Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson have in a press release stated the vigil still holds but at a different venue.
Participants will now converge at “ON- THE- RUN” also known as Bonjour on the Legon Presec road towards the old main gate of the University of Ghana at exactly 4pm.
Organizers have however sounded a word of caution to all who wish to participate to note the vigil is non partisan and would therefore not tolerate any such action by any one.
Celebrities expected to participate in the Dumsormuststop vigil include Sarkodie, D-Black, Efya, Kwaw Kese, DKB and many others.
