Daughter of recently discharged media personality Kwesi Kyei Darkwa popularly referred to as KKD, Ohemaa Kyei Darkwa has described as “bogus” the rape case that was brought against his father.
The 19-year-old daughter made the remark in an interview Starr FM saying she believed her dad did not rape the said victim and knew the accusation was bogus from the start.
“I am incredibly excited because it is just very good to know that my dad has been granted the justice he deserves, this case has been bogus from the start.” – She said.
She continued saying, “It is not the age that matters to me but it was the accusation that bothered me because at the end of the day…it is an issue of whether it was a criminality or not and it wasn’t so we are going to the African Regent Hotel to celebrate”.
KKD was discharged early Wednesday April 22 after the the victim and her family members refused to to testify to the case.
KKD’s freedom still hangs on the line as the case could be called any day should the victim, her family or the state decide otherwise.
