Shawn Mendes came out as the biggest winner of the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards, which was held on Sunday, October 12 at SSE Arena in Wembley. The 19-year-old heartthrob took home three awards, including Best Song for his hit song “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back”. He also won Best Artist and Biggest Fans.
Other big names who made it to the winner list include Camila Cabello, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem. Camila nabbed Best Pop, while Kendrick took home Best Video for “HUMBLE.” Eminem, who kicked off the show with “Walk on Water”, brought home Best Hip Hop. He was surprised to know that he was named as the winner for the category. “I’m not really sure how I got this, ’cause I haven’t had an album out in a few years,” the Detroit rapper said during his acceptance speech. “I got one coming though.”
