Ghana’s largest telecommunications network, MTN Ghana has as part of ongoing “MTN 4G Taking Over” promotion awarded a number of loyal customers with prize items.
With the highest point earner driving home a brand new Hyundai Sonata, 3 others took home other models of Hyundai cars. Others winners also received 4G enabled iPhone 8, Samsung S8 and Huawei Y5 handsets with one also receiving GHC5000 in MoMo cash.

Speaking to Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com at the prize presentation, Acting General Manager for the Northern Business District, MTN Ghana, Mr. Nii Adotey Mingle said the promotion is to appreciate loyal MTN customers who use the 4G network.
He again congratulated all the winners and asked that customers switched to MTN 4G to explore the amazing benefits on the other side.
He explained that winners were selected based on how often they use their airtime to call, text, browse as well as their constant MTN mobile money transactions.
‘Essentially it is a point allocation system, so for every pesewa you spend on SMS and Voice, you get one point, when you spend it on data and mobile financial service you get two points, so it is an accumulation of points and when you accrue your points to a certain level, whoever has the highest at the cut-off point, is the person who has won.’
The MTN ‘4G Taking Over Promo’ is a five-month promotion which started in December 2017 and is expected to end in May.
