After a short hiatus, South Africa’s Durban International Conference Centre played host to some of Africa’s greatest performers as it hosted the 2014 edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards.
Among the wonderful performers on the night were Ghana’s very own Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Fally Ipupa, Michael Lowman, Don Jazzy, DJ Clock, Beatenberg, DJ Kent, Big Nuz, Toofan, D’Banj, Davido and several others as part of activities for the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).
Despite failed attempts by Fuse ODG and Efya, Sarkodie made Ghana proud by winning the Best Hip Hop artiste of the year award.
