Max TV Apologizes To Cina Soul Over Big Akwes’ Unsavoury Comments

Management of Max TV, a subsidiary of IMAX Media, has apologized to Ghanaian songstress Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome, popularly known as Cina Soul.

The apology comes after several personalities went ballistic on social media over some unsavoury comments made by actor Big Kwes about the songstress during a recent entertainment review discussion on the TV network.

Reacting to the development, Cina Soul in a post on X lamented how she had invested her time and finances into promoting her new album without any support only to be dragged by the actor over her outfit.

Following the backlash, the host of the TV show has rendered an apology, saying,

“On behalf of our management, the entire IMAX team, and Big Akwes, we apologize for the utterances. Some of the comments got a bit personal at a point as he attacked your personality. We are sorry. We wish you all the best with your new album,” she said.
