Mafikizolo embarks on a six-city Reunited SA Tour

Known for their energetic dance and outstanding music, South African music group Mafikizolo will be embarking on a six-city South African tour kicking off on 14 March in Tshwane. They will also be going to Polokwane, Nelson Mandela Bay, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Cape Town.

“With this tour we will be taking time out to also sit town in the cities and speak to the youth on issues that they are facing. We will be the brothers and sisters that will connect with them and advice where we can,” explained Theo Kgosingwe, Mafikizolo’s male lead.

In partnership with the Nelson Mandela Fund, some of the proceeds from the Reunited Tour will go to the fund.

“We are honoured to be contributing to Tata’s legacy. We believe in everything he stands for,” Nhlanhla said.

Mafikizolo will perform with a 16-piece band, 20 dancers and other African artists, namely Davido (Nigeria), Diamond (Kenya) and Mr. May D (Nigeria).

The tour is named after their second album Reunited which was released in 2013 and has hit tracks such as Khona and Happiness.
