Radio listening experience might never be the same from Monday February 4th 2013 for many listeners of Hitz fm 103.9 as the man who worked magic on the station’s morning show, Daybreak Hitz quits for a new network. Kwame Sakyiamah who until some few weeks was popularly and affectionately know as Lexis Bill broke the news yesterday on social media Facebook. Prior to the news, he psyched his fans saying;
I want you to fall in love with me all over again but before then, permit me to break your heart! I’ve got news for you…
He then went ahead to break the news;
…………………………… Thanks for being my listener on Hitz FM. Lets do it for the last time tomorrow. My last show on Hitz FM airs tomorrow at 6am.
This update was greeted with so0 much pain as many of his fans and listeners could not hide their sorrow. Below are some comments made by some of the fans and listeners;
Although many have overlooked this as one of the usual comic aspects of Lexis Bill and taken it as a prank, www.nydjlive.com can confirm his departure from Hitz fm.
Lexis Bill has however disclosed to www.nydjlive.com he is not quitting radio but will still be around to thrill people but on a different frequency.
Kwame Sakyiamah has so far worked with Focus fm on KNUST, Kapital Radio, Radio Xtacy, Sky Fm and Hitz fm and left many listeners in limbo whenever he left. Kwame Sakyiamah hosted his last show on Hitz fm today February 1st 2013.
