Legendary Gospel Musician Yaw Sarpong Donates New Wheelchair To Radio Presenter

With eyes full of gratitude , Bagio, a sports presenter and entertainment enthusiast with Kumasi based Light FM sat in the new wheelchair given to him by legendary Ghanaian Gospel musician Yaw Sarpong.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com,  the  musician explained the reason behind the donation.

He said;

“I  chanced on him at Light FM during  my radio tour in Kumasi and realized his wheelchair was old. Having used a wheelchair before because of my previous health condition, I knew how difficult it was to be using that chair so I promised to offer him a new one hence fulfilling my promise.”

Bagio, as he is affectionately called expressed deepest appreciation to Yaw Sarpong for the gesture  and explained how many others had already promised by never delivered.

“I felt it was one of just those things because so many people have appeared on our entertainment show and made such promises but nothing happened so I was really surprised when they called me to meet them today for the gift,” he said.

With 25 albums to his credit, the legendary Gospel musician is currently on a press run in the Ashanti Regional capital where is he promoting his new single Ahobrase3 which features multiple award winning artist Sarkodie.
