Miklin Hotel, Kumasi was the venue to be yesterday June 1 2014 as young talented individuals from all walks of live thronged the venue to audition for West Africa’s biggest music reality show Project Fame West Africa.
The event which clashed with the biggest rivalry clubs playing on the same day in the city would however not prevent very determined individuals from participating as talented young women and men turned up in their numbers as it was the first time in the histroy of the project that it had had auditions outside Accra.
Although auditions started a bit late unlike scheduled due to technical hitches, contestants took their turn’s one after the other singing their favourite tunes in front of distinguished judges Bibi Brew, Akosua Agyapong and Collins Agyemang (Collins Tee).
In the end, a few talented musicians with very good voices were selected and would join those who were selected from the national capital Accra for another showdown after which the numbers would be pruned down to two to represent Ghana in the subsequent weeks.
Speaking to www.nydjlive.com, judges present disclosed they were super excited at the talents that were present and only hoped those who did not qualify would work extra harder for next year’s edition.
