BASS Awards nominee for Most Popular Dancehall song and versatile Kumasi based artist, Rexford Kojo Amoah popularly known as Shatta Rako aka Kojo Legend could just be living up to the bidding as the next big musician to salvage the Garden City from the wrecks of its music woes as he finalizes preparations for his double album release.
Slated for July 1 at the Golden Tulip, Kumasi City and tipped as the biggest event in his musical career, Shatta Rako has disclosed everything is right in place for the launch of the double albums klassical Remixes and Redefined.
According to Shatta Rako, the ‘klassic Remixes’ album will comprise some of his remixes to old high life songs whilst the Redefined’ album will feature most of his original songs with which he would want to announce his presence in the Ghanaian music scene.
Most of his singles such as Wosisi Ananse, One Ghana and many others already enjoying massive airplay nationwide.
The double album launch takes place at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City on the 1st of July 2013 and will see performances from fellow dancehall and highlife musicians Kofi B, Kofi Nti, Legendary Pat Thomas, Felix Owusu,Fiifi Sella formerly of TH4 Kwages, Sonni Balli, Kwame Adinkrah and many others.
