After an impressive game with the Germans, one would expect that Ghana would be looking forward to a great game with the Portuguese but the recent information from the camp of the Blackstars leaves more to be desired.

Midfielders, Kevin Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari have been sacked from the team camp in Brazil and given an indefinite suspension from the team.

The two players were sacked for fighting at the team’s training two days ago.  Sulley Muntari is also reported to have slapped an executive member of the Ghana Football Association over an altercation.

According to Michael Oti Adjei;

“Muntari had a massive physical showdown with Moses Armah Parker last night while Kevin Prince Boateng was sacked for gross show of insubordination towards coach Kwesi Appiah.

Boateng had screamed four-letter expletives at Appiah in training on Sunday before he was ordered off by the coach.

The decision of the management team had been made long in advance but officials waited to hand them their appearance fees before delivering the devastating news.

While Kevin-Prince Boateng tweeted he was going home, Muntari reportedly wept when he was handed the letter by team manager Sarbah Quaye.”

Hmm, the camp seems disorganized and one would wonder how the team would fare against the Portuguese.
