Juliet Bawuah Confirms Resigning From Media General

Ghanaian sports journalist Juliet Bawuah has confirmed her resignation from Media General.

The Journalist of the Year at the 47th edition of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards in a statement posted to Twitter wrote;

“On Monday, 16th January 2023, I resigned from my role as Group Head of Sports at Media General (TV3 and others).

It’s the end of another successful professional journey.

Thank you all for the immense support during my tenure as team lead.”

On January 18, 2023, Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News -www.nydjlive.com broke the news of the resignation of the astute sports journalist.

Juliet is a respected Journalist with a wealth of experience. She worked for TV3, CITI FM, Metro TV, and ETV in Ghana. In the past, she contributed to GOAL and Cafonline.

Juliet is a go-to contributor on sports in Africa for SuperSport, BBC, Aljazeera, TRT World, Premier League TV, La Liga TV, France 24 and DW. She is also a founding employee of the Euronews-run Africanews, where she was based in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo.
