Joy Prime, a subsidiary of Multimedia Group Limited has with immediate effect suspended airing Miss Kidi Ghana, a child talent show which airs on the TV channel.
The suspension comes after a number of Ghanaians took to social media to register their displeasure over a recently broadcast that saw young girls display their talents in bikini on TV.
A statement signed by the channel manager and sighted by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com suggests the company is working with its third-party providers to review the production process of the show.
The outfit also apologised to its cherished audience and appreciated the feedback with the hope of building a stronger relationship.
Produced by Askof Productions Limited, Miss Kidi Ghana is an all-female beauty pageant for kids between 5 and 12 years. Prior to the suspension, the show aired each Sunday at 4:30 pm.
