Corinne Foxx, the daughter of Jamie Foxx, has been named Miss Golden Globe 2016. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association made the announcement on Tuesday, November 17.
“Throughout the years I’ve grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor,” said Corinne at the first party of the Awards Season. “I’m honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he’s been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments.”
The daughter of the 2004 Best Actor winner is a senior at the University of Southern California and was recently involved in a campaign for The Icing. “Like her father, she leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can’t wait to see what she does next,” said Lorenzo Soria, president of the HFPA.
