Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has allegedly been threatened by one Jeremiah Quayson for apparently sharing a piece of fake news and attributing it to media personality Bola Ray.
A screenshot shared by the musician shows a message from an individual which reads;
“Don’t be surprised to my boys at your restaurant in Tema, you think I’m those ordinary Ghanaians if I spark not even your John Mahama can save you trust me.”
A quick search via Truecaller, a smartphone application that has features of caller-identification, call-blocking, flash-messaging, call-recording, Chat & Voice by using the internet returned and identified the owner as one Jeremiah Quayson.
It is immediately unknown the exact Jeremiah Quayson but a picture attached to MzBel’s post on Facebook links it to a political activist and director at Ezi Pay.
Jeremiah Quayson is yet to speak to the said threats.
On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Mzbel shared a post about the activities of the Electoral Commission of Ghana which was later deleted after Bola asked Ghanaians to disregard it.
