I wish to host the BET Awards one day – YFM Presenter

A Master of Ceremonies as the name implies is the controller of affairs as far as events are concerned, the success or otherwise of an event depends on him and that is one Journey YFM Ghana’s presenter Nana Quasi-Wusu  popularly known as PM has decided to trod.

Frankly speaking it was even through event MCing that made him land a Job at YFM.

Beginning what will later turn out to be a profession during a church service when he was first the first chance to moderate the affairs of a gathering, PM realized handling such affairs came so easily and was fun and therefore started to read about it.

In Takoradi Polytechnic, now Takoradi Technical University where he was admitted to study Civil Engineering, PM sparked up some fire giving off his best anytime he was called upon.

In level 100, he started MCing at Restaurants Services thus the final year Project of the Hospitality Students as part of their project, and “whenever he was done, they always paid him with a pack of Jollof”.

PM saw a major breakthrough during his level 200 days (2nd year at the polytechnic) when he had the chance to MC a hall week celebration. He since became the outright host of major hall week celebrations including and other student functions including Miss T Poly, Face Of Ghacem, Man Ahanta, Technique Style, etc.

In 2014, PM was honoured as a professional MC by GPark Multimedia, organizers Of GPark Excellence Awards.

Pm has since hosted several shows including Miss Abstinence, Taadi Fashion Weekend, Face Of Health (for Western & Central region), Fashion RunWay Series, Kiddie Fashion Show, Carols Night (for the Oil & Gas Companies), Inauguration of AOS Orwell (An Oil and Gas Company) etc..

Few weeks ago, he served as a judge on YFM Ghana and Etv’s biggest reality show “The One”.

PM is the official MC Of Y97.9FM Takoradi hosting events such as Area Codes, Y Dialogues, Leavers Jam, Birthday Bash, Ladies Nyt, RED cup Vals, etc.

In 2015, he was adjudged the best Reggae show host in the Western Region for his show RootsNrevival. He is currently is the host of the campus radio Show “ Y campus Express” which airs on Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm and Feel Good Music Show which airs on Sunday evenings From 8pm to 12midnight.

Asked what his biggest dream is, PM said he wants to be tagged as the Talent Ambassador and the Versatile MC with no limitations.

His dream is to be the first Ghanaian and perhaps African to host the BET Awards and takes inspiration from Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD), Kwame Sefa Kae, the late Komla Dumor, Chris Attoh and LL Cool J.
