Considered the bitterest ‘enemies’ in the Ghanaian music industry by many, BET Award winner Stonebwoy has disclosed he’s not enemies with Shatta Wale and that he respects him.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Day Break Hitz, Stonebwoy debunked allegations emanating from certain sects that he’s in bed with Shatta Wale into deceiving the masses to think they are enemies although they speak most often and laugh over some of the reactions of their fans.
According to him, he’s not the best of friends with Shatta Wale although he respects him.
“We are not friends. I respect Shatta Wale a lot although I do not agree with him all the times. I mean his utterances and actions. That again does not mean he has to change to suit me or anyone else. He’s doing him and that makes him cool…”
Speaking to several issues including Kumi Guitar’s diss song to him, Stonebwoy explained he didn’t really pay attention to that song although tried the latter tried to make peace with him backstage at the 3 Music Awards.
Speaking to social media abuse from fans and others alike, Stonebwoy explained some of the comments really ‘cut’ and ‘hurt’
“Some of the comments really cut and hurt so what I do at times is to delete them. It takes a tough skin to overlook some of these comments. I’d rather my fans keep it positive and promote my works than involve themselves in negative vibe online”
Again, he described as unfortunate an attempt by Shatta Wale to make mockery of people with disabilities.
He also advised the youth to desist from the use of illegal drugs and stop abusing other drugs.
