The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Creative Arts has a new minister.
Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley constituency and former Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi has been appointed Minister of Tourism, Arts and Creative Arts.
This was said in a government document signed by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications.
Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi takes over from Member of Parliament for Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira constituency, Hon. Catherine Afeku who has now been appointed as a Minister of State at the office of the President.
Hon. Catherine Afeku was appointed a Minister of Tourism, Arts and Creative Arts in 2017 and has since won a few industry personalities to her side for her work. In similar manner, she has received ‘bashing’ for what a section of the industry refer to as inability to live up to the task.
