God Has Saved Me, I’m Here And That Means I’m Back For Good – OV
MTN Hitmaker Season 7 winner and former signee of Burniton Music Group, Barbara Naa Nyarko also known as OV has revealed she’s back and for good.
The musician who had gone under the radar for a while in a very emotional interview with NY DJ on BTM Afrika revealed she’s grateful to God for saving her after battling depression and other spiritual challenges.
The musician who revealed she once got paralyzed and could hardly talk during her hiatus believed her return to music was divine hence her resolve to never go back.
She explained the cause of her paralysis.
“My sister was pregnant and I was paralyzed after I was given an overdose of a drug that was meant to make me sane again. I had Parkinson’s, I started shaking, drooling and couldn’t walk.”
OV also revealed a terrible situation her sister once found her in.
“There’s a day she (my sister) took me to the washroom only to return and find me in the corner of the washroom. I had fallen off the seat and couldn’t do anything. She just didn’t know what to do and that broke her heart. I don’t want to tear up on your show. That’s not really important. God has saved me. I’m here and it means that you can’t do anything. You can’t stop this thing, God brought it. God gave it to me. This is a gift, this is something I have no control over.” she said.
